Study Island
We now have access to Study Island at Valley. It is a great resource that will help prepare our kids for the state standardized tests. If you have internet access, your child can access Study Island from home as well as school. You have received a sheet home that has more information and your child’s log-in information. Be sure and keep their log-in ID and password in a safe place. We hope you take advantage of this great learning tool. Simply go to www.studyisland.com – you may contact Study Island at 800-419-3194 or at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Reading Logs
Please remember to check that your student is reading 100 minutes per week. Please sign their agenda when they have read. Students who do not have their 100 minutes per week signed will have “Study Hall” during their recess period.
Scholastic Book Orders
Now it's easier than ever to find the perfect books for your child -- and choose from a much-wider selection of books than in the printed flyer. Plus, you can send your orders directly to me online and use your credit card to pay. Best of all, we earn a FREE book for the classroom library every time a parent places an order online. Simply go to www.scholastic.com/bookclubs. When prompted, enter the one-time Class Activation Code: HW3G2
Valley Voices
If your child has signed up to be a part of Valley Voices please remember that they will have practice weekly on Thursday from 2:45-3:30. Please make arrangements to pick your child up by 3:30. Contact Ms. Fuller if you have any questions. [email protected]
